Well, it took the full 30 days, but my Chase card finally came in the mail today. I applied for the Shopnow.com card, because there medals look too plain (wouldn't mind the Platinum in a while, though) If you read the disclosures before applying, the card may be issued by Chase Manhattan Bank, or your app may be transferred to Merrick Bank. I'm assuming Merrick Bank is the resort for those applications Chase cannot approve? Maybe someone can comment on Merrick Bank (prime/subprime/what?) Anyway, mine was issued by Chase, so that makes me happy! My credit must be getting built. The interest rate is 3.99% til April 2001, thereafter 11.99% fixed. Not bad, huh?
smiles! That is great news Dave. I took it as a sign that my credit was looking up when I got the Chase shopnow.com card. Like you, it took the full 30 days to get the card. It came to my house on a turtle's back, but I still love it. You got the card, just in time for the holidays. Enjoy! roni.
congrats!i applied online sunday night and was declined. they said because of my judgement which means they pulled experian or equifax as those 2 have the judgement on it,also said i had to many inquires :[
Zip- you may want to try Bank of America - they pulled TransUnion on me and that's the only one they update from (they're nosy, though, they peek every month).
