Ok. I signed up with the office of Jack Schrold on May 16. Their website says that they debit your account on the 15th of each month. Upon signing I was informed that I would receive a packet in the mail with some documents to sign. I have yet to receive such documents. Could it be that they are waiting for the 15th of June to send the documents because that is when the first debit will take place? I signed up on the 16th of May so perhaps it was to late for them to debit the account for that month. Anybody had any experience with this? I could use some insight.

    Thanks.

Have you called them and asked? I would call and ask when/if they plan to debit your account, what is up with the paperwork, and have they even started on your case 2 weeks later.

An aside, I had decided to sign with them as well for my husband's file. I just don't have time to work on it anymore. I sent them an email explaining exactly what they would be up against, who the creditors were, etc. I simply asked "do you have experience dealing with such issues & have you had success." I never heard a word from them. Now I am a little uneasy that they may not be the most responsive group in the world. I hate that.

I will be very interested to know your progress. Keep us posted please!

I've had good response from them. Yes, I think that by applying on the 16th may have caused a bit of a delay. I received the packet with a form to sign and mail back. Schrold then signs a contract and mails it back to you for your records. They also sent me a copy of my TU and I believe Equifax reports. They advised that Experian will only mail the report to me and instructed me to mail it to them when I received it. Mailed that to them on 05-14-02. Today I just mailed them a copy of my updated Experian report but I don't think it was a report that they did any work on yet, only my past work was shown. I'll keep you informed and to be honest, they've done everything they have said they would to get this thing going and they have replied to me through e-mail. Try calling and asking. I've called once or twice and have always received a nice, informed person. Good luck. I'm sure if that office tries any funny stuff, it won't go far due to this board.

    Great thanks,

I will cal them today. I am a bit worried because I sent them an email on Thursday of Last week and have gooten no response. I will try calling today. I have heard good things about them but if they can't or won't get back to me promptly then I will find someone else.

Anybody knows whether Jack Schrold goes after the cra's or the ca's or the oc's or all three. I had started validation with one particularly nast ca and I would like to take them to court. My reasoning is if Schrold deals with only the cra's then I can continue my correspondence with this ca since I've already got them for not marking my account in dispute. Please shed some light on this issue for me and let me know if you think I should proceed or just let schrold do his thing.

They only go after the CRA's

Good so that means I can continue my fight with the collectors and original creditors.
