   I have read earlier that you got a AMEX Optima for students. Is that like a screat card? I dotn see it on their website. Do they still offer it? I have a few negatives on my report that caused me a rejection to regular GReen and Blue. Do you think I can get the students card? I am a student btw. Thanks

   I got the Optim for students in Nov of '97. Last month they replaced it with Blue for students--which is a much better card by far. If you have some negatives, you might still be able to get the student personal or Blue (however, it depends on what the negs were--BK, charge off and how long ago)
