I'm soooooo excited! I logged on to Credit Expert this morning and noticed that one of my negs had moved over to positive! I sent planet feedback to JC Penney requesting that they remove some old (1997) 30 day lates from my credit report. This was a few weeks ago. Anyway, apparently they deleted all negs from my account. That has to be it because I did not dispute it with the bureaus. It is still on EQ but I'm not sure about TU(they blocked me). Wow..I really can't believe it. I didn't gain a point but I'm soooo happy! When we apply for our mortgage that will be one less negative that we will have to explain. Thanks for letting me share my success!
This has just made my day full of encouragement. I, too have 2 30 day late pymt on my credit files from JCP and I have sent them various letters requesting removal and had no success. I jus finish paying off the acct in full (acct is closed) and I am looking forward to succeeding just as you have. Is your letter posted on the pfb site or can you post it here so that I can read it? Hi Nancy! Thank you so much for the reply. I did not share my letter on Planet Feedback. I just tried to log in and for some reason the system won't let me log in. I know I have the right password. Maybe the system is down? I'm going to post another message to see if others are having the same problem logging in at planet feedback. I can tell you generally what I said in my letter. I told them that in 1997 I was having financial difficulties. I told them that I had a good payment history with them for the ten years that I had my account except for an isolated period of time in 1997. I asked that they delete all negatives on my record since it no longer accurately reflects the way I pay my bills. I worded it a little different but that was the gist of it. I will keep trying to log into planet feedback to retrieve my letter. If I am successful I will post the entire letter on this site. Thanks again! WOW! I just checked my Experian report again and now my score increased by 6 points!!!! Yippie! Still trying to figure out the problem with Planet Feedback...
No. :-( George is the only one who responded to my post asking if others were having trouble logging in. He said he did not have any problems at all. I'm trying to find a way to email planet feedback for assistance. I see a link to leave feedback for them but not an email address yet. I just had to restore my hard drive so I can't get the copy from my online filing cabinet. All of the info is gone! :-( Anyway, I will keep trying with planet feedback and let you know....
