    i applied on line and got the standard 7-10 day crap that was on the 18th i just called them and they said they couldnt tell me anything that i would have to wait for the mail is this a denial???

    Does JCPenney offer instant approval?

    If not then it may be their standard procedures

    they do but i didt get it but the same thing happened with target and i got it

    You can try calling back and getting a different rep to ask

    Otherwise just wait it out.

    I applied about 2 weeks ago and did get instant approval.... but maybe their computers are down or something....I didn't get instant approval from Citi when everyone else was getting it and was later approved, so don't give up hope!
