Uhmm, I wanted to apply for Macyâ??s card, but as I have seen here they are late on report, and they only report to Experian.

So, I have changed my mind and Iâ??m looking for any input regarding JC Penny. Iâ??ve heard they are good and they report to all of 3 CRAâ??s with no delay.

I would appreciate if you could share with me which CRA they pull in NY, and any positive/negative experience with this card?

    Thank you.

APR is high, so the only reason I have one is to have a store card. I don't use it. They do report ok.

I work for JCPenney. They pull TU but report to TU and Equifax. They report very well. The card is owned by GE Capital. The only neg I can say other than the high interest rate is that their calling is all sourced out to India...so if you ever have a question or they need to contact you, there is a bit of a communication thing. No offense to anyone intended...fine English is spoken, just the accents are heavy and the reps speak veryveryveryfast.

You can go into any store and apply then and there and they'll give you an extra 10% pass. Plus, with the card you get invited to special shopping nites with extra discounts, etc....sorry to be selling here!

It is an easy card to get. My store has an 82% approval rate for instant credit apps.

If it were me, I'd run like hell from JCP... if they (or you) ever screw up and they report you to the credit bureaus, they are a nightmare to deal with.

Last month, I forgot to pay my JC Penney Card bill and they didn't report my account past due to credit bureaus. All they charge me $10.00 past due fee plus finance charge 50 cents. In my book, they're alright.
