Does anyone out there have a secured JCB and know if they report to the bureaus as secured.Thanks for any input.They are the #1 card issuer in Japan.
I have the applications for all available JCB cards (in the USA)...they arrived in the mail last week. I mentioned the secured card but they rep said you can't "apply" for that one. If you apply for one of the others and are denied, then they would conteroffer with secured. Also note that the Northwest/JCB card for getting miles on NWA is no more. They aren't taking apps for it and the NWA program ceases in July. I'm debating on whether to apply but I'm going to wait until my next round of credit reports come in. The rep told me the requirements are $12,000 annual income, credit check (Experian), and employment check (don' know if they call but she said a paystub would help since my employer doesn't verify anything by mail or phone).
