OK, I need suggestions here guys, do I go straight for a lawsuit or what? I dont know what to do. I filed for a BK 13 February of 96. At a bare minimum to my understanding anyway, the DOL of any account listed in my BK 13 should be Feb of 96. Well I have 2 stray companies including JCPenney that are reporting the DOL as Feb of 99 which was when it was discharged (After my 3 months of making payments). According to what I have read here the DOL should be the first day it became delinquint. So I sent a letter to the CRAs asking them to verify and of course JCPenney verified on all three report, showing all 3 different DOLs! THis is driving me mad. I called JCPenney a few minutes ago and she said their retention is only 5 years and they have no access to my account other than to show it was in a BK. So how in the world did it get verified. She also said she couldnt send me anything that showed my true date of DOL because she doesnt have anything and she wont update it because she doesnt have anything. Ok so Im in a circle here with CRAs verifying and JCP telling me the DOL cant be verified. So what do I do? Help anyone? 2 more negatives from the BK left to go. Misty
