Thinking about becoming an au on Jcpenney. Do they report to all 3 CRA's with the limits and regular updates?

I'd like to know too, because I want to add hubbys name to my account. Is it better to add them as a secondary cardholder, or just AU?

My fiance has a JCPenney's account on all three CRAs. The account has been closed for over three years, and he paid more than thirty days late a few times. All three CRAs show the account as open/good standing/0 balance/no lates. I'm not crazy, so I'm not going to dispute it, but it makes me wonder how diligent Penneys is about reporting.

Maybe others have a different view.

JCPenney reports on all three for me. They tend to be slow, a month or two late updating. As for accuracy....I have two old JC Penney accounts showing as positive listings also...both the same account actually....one listed as closed, the other inactive. I haven't tried getting them removed..since they date back to 1983. Works for me:) I also have hubby as AU and his report the same way.

For those of you who are AU's on Penny's- Does it list the "Date Opened" as the date the primary card holder opened it, or just from the date you became AU?

AU is listed as the date the account was opened

Yeah I agree. I was an au on few different cc and it always showed the date the card was opened by the original cardholder.
