I was curious and can't find any info on this. IF a creditor/ collection agency just happens to get a Judgement, can a Joint Bank (checking/ savings ) Account be frozen and cleaned out??? Even if the other party had nothing at all to do with the Debt? Anybody know?

Although the statute varies by states, in most states if a joint account is frozen because one party has a court action against them, the other party (known as the "injured party") has the opportunity to appear in court and petition the court for release of their portion of the funds in the account. Normally some proof would have to be offered i.e. paystub showing deposit to the account, deposit receipt etc.
