i call verizon wireless inquiring about phone service. i asked if i could put a deposit down instead of a credit check because i want to buy a house next year and i am trying to limit inquiries. this girl tells me that she used to work for equifax and inquiries only stay on your report for 90 days. i tried to argue with her citing i am in the mortgage industry and i guarantee that isn't true. she goes so far as to swear on her life it is 90 days. i told her i would think about it and to give me the name of her replacement since she won't be alive to help me when i call back... LOL!!!!!!
