    LOL

Reminds me of a story Dani. When I was growing up my dad had a best friend who was also his employee. Bobby was an incredibly beautifull guy with an enormous heart. But Bobby was just ... well ... not too bright.

Bobby spent time in prison for walking into a Stop & Rob and walikng out with the cash register, THE WHOLE THING. Bobby was a BIG guy.

The next day, he concluded "hell that was easy", so he went back to the same store and did it again.

    LOLOL

Admittadtly there ARE some NOT TOO BRIGHT lawyers out there, but to profer the above advice is comperable to what Bobby did.

Mainly because the Federal BK court would have braught it up. "YOU TOLD THIS CLIENT TO DO WHAT"???

It's just too stupid to be true. People who really are that stupid never get through law school. (I hope anyway).

    JMHO

    lol

Thank you, Butch for defending me...it is always nice to have friends. I think that jude60's silence since this thread started speaks loudly for his/her intent. People really interested in help and are as desperate as he/she claims to be are usually quick to reply and attentive to the action of a thread.

As for my own "newness"...I don't give advice except in matters I have personal/professional experience in. I read jude60's posts after being alerted in a private email by Butch and I found everything posted to be suspect including the advice to cash out an exempted asset in anticipation of bk. Maybe I jumped the gun...but as the hours roll by I don't think so.

I think I have contributed to this board...when I give advice that helps people here I don't get accused of "newbie" inappropriateness. That I pointed out what to me is either a troll or some person giving way off base info...my intent is clear...to help. Please correct me if I'm way off base here.

Jrjr35..I said SOME attorneys. Hey, in any profession, there are SOME who, well, "stuggle," right?

Kiyi: I thought your shameless plug was tactfully shameless! LOL Nice site, by the way

Ohno: That's the cutest darn screen name...LOL Makes me smile everytime I read it!

They bump up your interest rate 5-10 points. They make more money, the more errors. Hell, they probably like errors on your report, gives them a reason to charge you a higher interest rate.

This is attorney bashing??? LOL. Nah, you ain't really heard any attorney bashing here. Go to an attorney-joke site and see them bash themselves, hahahaha!!!

Q: What's wrong with Lawyer jokes?

A: Lawyers don't think they're funny, and nobody else thinks they're jokes.

Did you hear they're starting to use attorneys instead of rats for laboratory experiments?
    .
Apparantly it's because there are more of them and you get less emotionally attached.

That's a really good point! It give them an excuse to charge outlandish interest rates, but then on the otherhand...it doesn't tell them much about who will default and who won't.

Or it could be that this poor guy didn't appreciate being attacked simply for posting and being new at a website. Ya'll ought to be ashamed...but that's just my personal opinion.

I am a newbie also and I personally think that this guy is afraid to post again after being accused of being a troll. I'm sure there are other newbies out there afraid to post for fear of being labeled a troll. I don't think you were fair to this person at all and that's just my opinion.

    Hi Gang,

I've done some serious thinkin about this and I think you gals have a point. The Jude, episode is primarily my doing.

If you've been studying this thread I do hope that you all understand the odds against any atty. giving anyone the advice Jude said he recieved. From my perspective it's as solid as DNA research that Jude told us something that was not true. Could Jude himself have been confused? I suppose that is a possibility, but remote.

Further, were he sincere I think he would have come back to defend, which he didn't/hasen't.

Anyway, I began including the tag line "Winner of the Troll buster award" on my posts.

After much consideration, and taking to heart your comments, I've REMOVED it.

After the Pulse saga I felt very protective of the people on this board and didn't want the place contaminated.

I've determined that there is a (remote) possibility that I made a mistake but my heart was in the right place.

I apologize to the board and will be more carefull henceforth.

Can we now please move on ...

I posted this in another thread, but I think it's worth repeating:

I not defending anyone here but seeing as I know NOTHING about BK's OR 401K's or IRA's or anything of that nature, if *I* were to post something like this would *I* be considered a troll????

Ever since pulse and collector1 (who I mistakenly gave the benefit of the doubt too) were here we all have our guard up. We are accusing THEN asking questions.

If *I* was accused of being a "troll" I would NOT respond to the post either. Why? You already have it set in your mind that I am a troll so why bother defending myself to the "group". I would feel not wanted and move on.

The only stupid question is the one not asked. Furthermore, there may be HUNDREDS of newbies that haven't posted yet for fear of wording their post wrong or thinking it may be a stupid question or fearing they may get labled as a "troll"

The "trolls" will out themselves in time, they will make it painfully obvious that they are only here to DISRUPT the board. Afterall it took a 100 or so posts for us to figure it out about Pulse, now we can determine it off of just 5 or 6 posts????

***Again I know NOTHING about BK, many people know nothing about BK, so personally I don't think it's a remote possibilty he had no LEGITIMATE idea what the atty. was talking about.
