I have a judgement on my CR that I would like to remove. However, I have one small problem. Last year in order to receive a student loan I had to have the judgement showing as paid (it had been paid but never updated on my CR as such). So I disputed it with the CRA as paid and they changed it. Now I want to dispute it as "Not Mine" . I have already removed all old addresses from my file, including the address that I was at when the judgement was awarded. I'm just wondering if I have any chance of getting it removed since I essentially verified it by getting it changed to "Satisfied".
There is a guy on the net somewhere who says they know how to tie up the courts so when you dipute they can't verify I guess that is possible, I have the same problem, need to the judgement off my report
I would suggest possibly re-posting this question directed towards BBauer, he seems to be quite learned about judgements, and often offers to assist CNeters in getting the judgements removed. ChrisB
