If creditor gets a judgement, why would it not enforce this as a judgement lien? Would this have to be done between 30 and 90 days after judgement was granted? I live in Ohio.

I know judgements can be sold, so then at least some money could be recovered. After renewing a judgement lien, then this would place this creditor after others in order to be paid if property was sold. Am I correct here?

How common is it for unsecured debt creditors to actually place a judgement lien?

Can a judgement be sold and then turned into a judgement lien? I have a judgement that is a year old. I am worried it will be sold and be turned into a lien on the property.

I am trying to get a rehab lien to have work done on my house. I cannot get this if a judgement lien can be placed on the house.
