The best way to get a collection company to remove items from your credit file is file in small claims court.

File that this company reports a fraud account under my SSN include the account# when they don't show you will get a judgement on them. After you get the judgement ask the judge to let the record reflect the above.

You fax a copy to the credit bureaus they will remove it the same day.

The only problem with this is that this gets extremely costly, doesn't it? Each filing will be near $120-150 per listing. This also doesn't prevent shady collection places like NCO where they will change their name and re-submit the listing to the CRA.
