    STEPH:
Unfortunately, if youâ??re referring to a contract matter the answer is yes you are subject to a lawsuit past the seven (7) year reporting statute. Illinois provisions allow the creditor/collection agent to sue on contract for up to 15 years, and report a judgment for up to 20.

    CORRECTIONâ?¦

    STEPH:
... Statute of limitations in Illinois is 10 years on contracts, NOT 15 years.

    RE: CORRECTION?

I don't think this is correct. I check the following link for Illinois:

    http://creditinfocenter.com/rebuild/statuteLimitations.shtml

    and it shows six years.

    You spelled judgment wrong.
