I have a judgment on my credit report, and it should be coming off in the next few months. I have paid it off. I was wondering if anyone know's about how many points a judgment has?
I don't know if my assumption here in regards to what you're doing is correct, but I don't think paying the judgement off will remove it nor effect the score much. I think you need it vacated, or disputed off.
Re: Re: Judgment points If it's reached the 7 year limit, probably not a whole lot. As they age, negatives count less and less towards your score. The only way I can think you'd see a good increase is if this is by chance your last remaining negative. When I had my vacated, satisfied judgment from 1997 deleted, my scores jumped on average of 5 points.

IS it coming off because the 7 years are almost up,or are you thinking it will be deleted because you paid it? LB59. The END ************************* LB 59 ____________________________
The 7 years is coming up in 8/03. I was really hoping it bring up my score. From the sounds of it, it won't make big of a difference. That really stinks. You know what I mean.
1*That really stinks. 2*You know what I mean. corree01 ======================= 1*Because it really don't come off because it's still hidden in your score. 2*Do you know what I mean. The END ************************* LB 59
