I have 3 judgments I need to attack pretty soon. On TU I had over 30 bad accounts, now I'm down to 5 derogatory and zero delinquent. The time is getting closer.

    Judgment

Closing Satisfied: 01/01/1970 on 3 of them.

I am not even that old. These dates just popped in lately. Does anyone else have this? Is it maybe a lucky break or is it common?

After all past addresses are cleared should these be attacked using a different way? I have not tried to dispute these yet.

    All 3 were BK7'd

    Any ideas?

01/01/1970 is the default date that is entered into a date field on an older type mainframe computer database.

It could be from Y2K, or a database conversion. It means the date information got hosed up somewhere.

Research would have to be done to find the proper date.

If there is no balance due, they may blow it off and just delete.

How about just deleting them on age? Don't judgements have to be renewed in 10 years and then they're no good anymore?
