How can I get a judment removed from a company that is no longer is business. My CR says it was satisfied, during a dispute. However, I know that they coulnd't have verified this, because I never paid it. Should I just let sleeping dogs lay. It was disputed on all 3 reports, it was deleted from 2 except Equifax. It is due to fall off next year. Will be appling for a mortage soon, and just didn't want it to show. Help........
Are you able to try the previous address trick? (i.e. dispute off your report the previous address that corresponds to where you were living when the judgement was filed)
