Just wanted to speak on another small victory. I had a stubborn judgment on Exp. that they were refusing to re-investigate but after several attempts it finally was deleted. What a relief!!!!
Could you please post the details on the judment and exactly how you got it off (ie. dispute methods, etc). I'm also trying to get a judgment off, and any ideas would be helpful. Currently I'm working on getting the old address where the judgment was filed removed from my CR, as a first step.
Well....I too disputed the old addresses off. The problem was that I had already disputed the judgment a couple times prior to that and Experian basically said they would not re-investigate unless I provided them new evidence. Well, I sent them an INTENT to SUE and a copy of my Social Security Card. The spelling on the judgment was a lil off from my actual name. I am not sure which got their attention because the intent to sue and social were sent within 1 day of each other, but the did re-investigate and it came off today. I hope this helps.
