I called Juniper Bank today since my 0% APR is about to expire to ask if they had any other offers. (This is the bank that reduced my CL from14,000 to 10,000 claiming that I had excessive inquiries.) The Rep was reviewing my account and then he came back to tell me to hold on he was transferring me... He transferred me to the security department. This guy proceeds to verify who I was and then told me that he was not sure why I was transferred to him. I proceeded to tell him why I called and he said there was a hold on my card and he didn't know why. He said I would have to call back tomorrow.
I wonder if this mysterious hold has something to do with my PFB letter to the Executive offices and my letter to the BBB complaining about how they reduced my credit line and were pulling hard inquiries without my permission! Since I only use this card for BT, I wouldn't know that it had a hold. I don't know how long it has had a hold on it!

    That's cold.

They deserve to be cancelled for being so punitive about negative customer feedback. But, remember, this *is* the bank that issued our beloved Aspire Card.

THIS THE SAME BANK THAT DENIED ME TWICE FOR THE FAKE REASON OF EXCESSIVE AVAILABLE CREDIT!!!

NOT for income too low, NOT for F.I.C.O. too low, NOT for exessive amount owed, NOT for too many credit accounts...

Maybe I should BBB and PFB them again to complain about these latest tactics. I don't need this card so I can play with them!!!

I think the part about the unathorized hard inquiries might be the reason for the hold. I once disputed a CC hard inq. on an account I actually had and the CC company that there might be fraud involved. They called me at work and asked about teh dispute and I told them it was a mistake and they forgave me and opened the card back up.
    Just a thought!

It's Juniper's fault if they have pulled unauthorized inquiries. Something they have done should not block the account for the customer.

I just fired off a letter to PFB and BBB about Juniper's practice.

    George,

    I'm glad I didn't get approved TWICE.
