I applied for Juniper Bank today. Incorrect regarding they usually go through Equifax. For me they used Experian. I was disappointed because I applied for MBNA as well. With Juniper Bank my inquiries are now up to 2 on Experian. I don't know if MBNA will approve me or not but Juniper gave me an instant $10,000 credit limit.
In La. they used to use Equafax. I had one for about 5 years but never received a bank transfer offer or a special interest rate offer and quit using it. They finally cancelled it. They do have a very unique card (translucent sp), and I did get a lot of nice comments on it.
