FYI - Juniper Bank uses Equifax for their credit inquiry. Applied and was declined because of excessive inquiries. The customer service rep on the phone said that instant approvals are granted at a credit score of 680+.

Good luck, and happy credit holidays.

Too late! Got the "we'll let you know" response; denial letter came in 2 days. Reason was excessive inquiries, too many accounts opened recently (8 in last 6 months!).

The only question is, why anyone - scoring that high - would want to apply for their card.

    Thanks Jimmy...

I have a repo on my Experian and Trans Union reports although for some lucky reason on my Equifax report it just shows the loan as non-rated and still active. I'm working to get the repo removed as I was a co-signer and I know how to remove it (it will just take a little time). Anyway I took your above advise and I just applied for the Juniper card over their (888) 232-0780 number. I was approved right away and they said I will receive the card in 7 to 10 days. Tyson
