I have to praise this company! I was just in an online chat with their customer service. They have THE BEST web site and account features. They have customizable alerts for the customer to set up. Online chat with customer service is terrific. Payments can be direct debited and unlike Citi which can take 3 or 4 days to post to your account, Juniper actually posts them right away...even before they pull the money out of your checking account. They do full service banking online...CD's, checking, saving, etc., etc.

Not too happy with the goto rate (15.74%) but the reps tell me there will be "incentives" offered when the promo runs out and that they'll be more competitive with other Prime lenders in the near future. I'm sure they spent plenty on their internet site and set up so it's somewhat understandable.

I am very happy, however, with a very generous credit limit and the 4 month 0% interest/no bt fees.

Sorry George...I didn't mean to make you feel bad. I still don't understand your dilemma with not getting approved.

Some wise poster said maybe with a F.I.C.O. of 685-704...THEY ASSUME I WILL DUMP THEM WHEN THE TEASER RATE IS OVER...

But the DEBT TO CREDIT LIMIT RATIO is killing me, because I closed TOO MUCH!!!

    George,
You and me both. I did the same thing not knowing about how the ratios hurt you. I think few people do know this. Finally, though, I'm able to get new credit. You will, too, eventually. Try to pay things down and get some zero balances to report and then apply again. Maybe you could try moving some balances to your wife's cards for a month or two to get yours down, or vice versa?
