I made a settlement with Juniper Bank back in the spring of this year. I owed them $1,000 (almost $800 of that was over the limit fees, and late fees!) We agreed to settle for $500 with the stipulation that all negatives will be removed from my credit file, and my account will be listed as "Paid As Agreed' on my report. I checked my report today, and my account for Juniper is showing up as "Settlement Accepted On This Account. Account Closed By XCredit Grantor." Do I have any recourse here?
BTW, I DID get this in writing from them about listing my account as "Paid As Agreed"

    Of course.

Breach of Contract case (good faith reliance).

Do the old, your reporting wrong fix it trick. Maybe they'll pull a CR with no pp. Then you can double whammy em.

    Just remember, play dumb.

    :)
