My credit report has steadily been improving since getting info from this board. I have just received a "preapproval" from Juniper with balance transfer ability. I've read all the posts here that say Juniper is tough and uses Equifax, which contains my last and only remaining collection account for $60.00 from 3 years ago.( I can't get those people to remove, even if I pay!). Equifax score is 635. Should I apply or am I just adding an inquiry, of which I have none? I also just read today that I can contest this collection account and if I understand correctly, it won't show if a prospective credit grantor runs a credit check. I am I reading this right? Thanks to everyone! Cheers!

Juniper is tough to get. They won't give you the card without pre-approval offers. They gave me $500 credit limit Juniper Visa with up to 2% cash back bonus evn if you have good credit. They pulled credit from Equifax. By the way, they give you specific link to apply something like www.juniper.com/xxxx.
