Well it's bugging me that I applied and was turned down. So I PFB'd them. Been a few days and no response.

I did a search and found that a few people were able to get a card with them after reconsideration - but they called. I hope PFBing was okay - I'm better writing than talking.

Anyone else have any experiences with getting a card with Juniper after having been turned down??

They pulled Equifax - then it was 712. The reason they denied me was too many recently opened accounts (refinanced mortgage in November, Dec I got GetSmart and Target and JCP, January Citi, and April Umbrella).

I know my score was kinda low for Juniper.. but I'd read that people with scores even lower than that were able to get it........so I gave it a shot.. I wanted the BT!!

    Ozzyburger,

They dnied me last year and I called them to reconsider. They told me No. I got pre-approval from them for Juniper Platinum Visa. I applied on the web and they approved me $500. They pulled credit from Equifax.

They pulled Equifax for hubby, his score was 785. Denied for "not enough accounts with satisfactory history" or something like that. He has no derogs, 5 tradelines, (3 open, one 7 years old). They're picky I think.

BTW, we sent them a PFB after the denial too and no response. I don't think I'll bother calling just to maybe get a $500 limit.

    Lizardking,

I don't know what my score is. Juniper Bank approval requirement you need to have an account at least 48 months of account hisory. They're tough to approve credit.
