Hi all, I know that several people have had great success getting negative accounts removed from credit reports with either Junum or Lexington. Although the dispute method is "proprietary" for these companies, I was hoping that people could tell me the types of accounts they've seen removed. Are most of the successes for deletion with "collection companies" (i.e NCO, Arrow, etc...) or have people seen Junum/Lexington delete accounts that are from major credit/mortgage companies (i.e Citibank, FCNB, Chase, etc...). In other words are the disputes mostly successful, because Junum and Lexington (I suspect) demand promissory notes from the CRA's and the CRA's figure that a collection company cannot produce it, so they simply decide to delete? For the accounts that Junum/Lexington could not delete, what types of accounts were they or what is the account "dispute history"? Thanks, Marci
Re: Methodology? To clarify my question: "For the accounts that Junum/Lexington could not delete, what types of accounts were they or what is the account "dispute history"? Here I am asking that, if the account was not deleted and you had tried to dispute it prior to Junum/Lexington, what about a prior dispute may have hindered the deletion? Thanks, Marci
