I have seen many of you guys post positive info on Junum and Lex. I am interested in the effectiveness of these two (for Lex-eClient option) in the following: 1. Charge offs-charged off 4 years ago 2. Small amounts in Collections, 4 years ago, still reporting. I would like to negotiate with Collection Companies (Large amounts) for deletions. However, should I do this now, I will not be able to negotiate with the original creditor for a deletion, only a dispute... Also, I know the small amount in collections are difficult in deleting because they have little to gain but a few hundred dollars. I was puting together a negotiating plan, when I discovered that a few friends of mine had paid IN FULL old charge offs and collections, only to find the notorious paid charge off or paid collection and a re-aged account; consequently their credit suffered. I would appreciate any info/experiences/knowledge in this matter. Thanks, CYA
