I have MORE results from Junum, they are: TU IS TOTALLY CLEAN NOW ... 0 NEGATIVES Wow it looks good!! Experian (one round) - ITEM - : #Day0/#Today PUB REC: 2/1 CA/NEGS: 2/0 One round resulted in 3 deletions I have since paid the lien and am in the process of removing the last item myself. Equifax (2 rounds) - ITEM - : #Day0/#Today PUB REC: 7/2 CA/NEGS: 6/3 4 of the remaining items are marked as "in dispute" from Junum's next round TransUnion (4 rounds) - ITEM - : #Day0/#Today PUB REC: 6/0-NADA-ZIP CA/NEGS: 6/0-NADA-ZIP If you read in my other posts, TU also deleted 3 positive accounts that were not disputed, they just nixed 4 years of previously good credit by themselves In total it amounts to 29 negatives to start with (March 21 2001- Day 0).....6 negative items remaining Aug 13th 2001 (Today). I think I will await Equifax results from round 3 and if they get the items removed I will cancel Junum and do the remaining 1 or 2 items on each report myself. Junum is getting very confusing with these 2 week cycles. Junum Score : 23 deletions - 2 Verifications - 3 TU screw ups. -Dave
Thanks Mom, I went back to add it all up again and found that 2 of the items were returned as "No longer reporting" so I don't think Junum had anything to do with them except for the fact that their dispute letter alerted them to the fact that the 7 year reporting limit had passed. Either way I am totally psyched and going to celebrate by maxxing out my Cap1 card at the local bar...don't worry, I can't get into too much trouble, my limit still really sucks! -Dave
This is absolutely incredible! If I fail on my own this first round, I may consider getting Junum! Since I have about 4-6 negatives on each, with some overlap I would think it couldn't take that long...I HOPE! Congratulations and have fun! Steph
Thanks Steph, Please search the board and decide if your situation matches with Junum's best help. Junum has gone through many ups and downs including big move to Ca, 2/4 week cycles, and "positive deletions". They don't do anything you can not do yourself, so don't let my success here steer you from your goals. Knowledge is key. I must admit though they did a good job on my somewhat older accounts so far (mine were from '96). -Dave
A big CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU!!!!!! I have my results and I'll post them. Junum has done very well for you and I'm happy for you and your success.
Nave, call TU and ask that they re-add the 3 deleted positives. It may require more than 1 call to get it right, but eventually they will. Saar
Saar, I sent TU a letter demanding they reinsert positive accountst they deleted, that only had certain aspects of the account disputed, ie:balances, date opened, etc. I got a bs reply that once an item is verified and the creditor does not respond, they have to delete it and can not reinsert it. The only way is if the creditor reports it again. However, in at least one case, the creditor was never asked to verify the account.
LKH, At times like this, I have to dissent from the popular notion that a letter is always better than a phone call. This being an excellent example to the contrary. I've had to call a few times till I got what I wanted - the Capital One tradeline re-added. I then got a new TU report, showing "Capital One" and "new information below". And there it was, the previously-deleted tradeline has made a comeback. Saar
Trans Union is the only CRA that admits it has a system in place to prevent deleted items from reappearing on your report. This is required by the FCRA. Sometimes it backfires and makes it hard for us, however it more often helps us. If Experian had such a system I would not be sitting here with 7 documented violations and court papers to file suit against them. I think the easier route to place these items back lies with the reporting companies. I may have missed something about your situation, but have you tried this? John
I believe Equifax's software also has a "cloak" feature. However, their consumer division reps have no idea how to uncloak. They say only a creditor can ask that an item be uncloaked, by calling their business division. Saar
Thanks for the info Saar I will try that. Did you send in copies of your old reports to verify? Or did they somehow have the info on file and "un-delete" it? I'm curious for 2 reasons...one, I am going to try this, and two, that will show if they "store" the negative info we are getting deleted. -Dave
They keep deleted tradelines in a separate file for at least 6 months. You need not send them anything. In their terminology, they "re-add" a tradeline. This probably won't work on the very first try, so be persistent. If necessary, call again or ask for a TU Senior Associate. Saar
