Idiots disputed four good accounts, and one was deleted. The one that was deleted was my local bank credit card. Idiots! I will wait to see if it gets reinserted after this billing cycle. I canceled Junum a few weeks ago..not soon enough.
You know funny you metion that my husband had both his individual car loan and mine which is a joint account deleted form his report both with excellent payment history deleted by them about 2 months ago, and it still has not appeared again.
Those good tradelines are not going to come back either. We already have the proof that the credit bureaus will not relist a good account that has been deleted by such as Junum. If you can get it back on, it's going to have to be because the original creditor puts them on, and maybe not even then. People are having much the same results with at least one of the other famous credit repair firms too. I have plenty of proof of what I say, and just about all of the proof is here by doing a search for the word Junum in the search box below.
For those of you that Junum deleted positive tradelines--Did they try to charge you for the deletion and when you complained did they try to offer explanation/compensation???
No, they didn't charge me and the tradeline showed back up the next cycle. TU is the only one that does a hard delete it seems. This latest round is going fine for me. They only disputed the negatives. They've managed to get two negatives deleted on the last round and one positive. I made notes on my credit reports when I sent them back in. They got it right this time. I think alot of the problems came from the tri-merged reports.
I think the you all are being BAMBOOZLED by the credit bureaus. I have given it ALOT OF THOUGHT and I just can't see Junum being that DAMN stupid. I think the bureaus are taking advantage of the fact that you are NOT sending our own dispute letters and that you dont know what is being deleted and just dropping good accounts like crazy in retaliations. Question: Did all three bureaus drop items or was it more with one particular bureau..just curious. (of course there is the possibility that JUNUM is indeed just that incompetent)
Well, Roni, let me ask you a question. If the credit bureaus were doing it out of spite so to speak, don't you think that there would be a pattern to it? I think they would tell their people that if they found out that people were using a credit repair firm that say 1 positive is to be deleted for every 2 negatives deleted or some such thing? And I don't think they would tell their people just to stike out at Junum in particular. They would be striking out at Lexington and others equally and although I do have a fair number of complaints against Lex and others too, The Junum complaints just keep on rolling in so fast that I can't even keep track of them. That's what don't sound logical to claim that the bureaus are "down on" Junum. Junum has by far the greatest number of people complaining, and where there is smoke there is usually fire. What do you think about that.
Bill, Junum is the only ones as I can see is doing the silly post office tricks. I have never heard of anyone post this sillyness about lexington, so I am to assume that this is junum's doing. Plus when I was a junum customer they did not do this..and they didnt do the merged reports either. I think they are making it obvious 'who they are to the bureaus'.. We had someone post a lex letter here months ago. That post showed the lex goes out of their way to NOT look like a credit repair company. Thoughts?
I called and spoke to a rep at Junum today re complaints of positives being deleted-Her reply was that person has been fired.I asked her if there was a problem on whiting out all positives in the reports sent to them as a precaution and she said no problem.I will post as soon as I get my first round of results.I do like how quickly I can get hold of a rep.I have called them 4 or 5 times and have gotten thru quickly each time.
Yeah, they told me the problem had been corrected also, and then the very next round another positive was disputed. I called the bureau and asked them to cancel that dispute and was told tough luck. So, just because they say something, doesn't mean it's true. Be cautious with them.
LKH, I must agree with you there. I got rid of junum in November over their telephone problems and billing error. I felt that I couldnt afford to let people who couldnt keep phones going and update account information properly anywhere near my prescious credit...lol
Roni, it was only on Experian that the good tradeline was deleted. Equifax and TU verified. With all of the problems eveyone's been having with Experian, that really surprised me. The negatives were deleted from TU and Equifax. They had never been reported on Experian.
I dont have anything good to say about Experian b/c they are sneaky slimballs. Maybe others will share their experiences with the deletions of positives.
Bill - no I did not white out the positive accounts when I sent in my reports, but, this was before they started having these problems. I guess I'm one of the lucky few who got in at the beginning of Junums' problems.
Looking over my files, I see that I have about 15 against Junum and only about 4 against Lex. Most of Junum's are for deleting postives and that's not necessarily so for Lex although at least 1 or 2 do mention Lex killing off positives also. That's a big difference.but either one is far too many. But I do think that the info I have shoots down any idea that the bureaus are out to get Junum or any other company in particular. We do know that they don't much like any of us according to some of the things that have been posted on that issue. But then, I don't guess it makes anybody much difference what the credit bureaus think about credit repair companies in general. Everybody gotta do what they gotta do.
EXPERIAN verified my wife's "CLOSED BY CREDIT GRANTOR"... DUHHHHHHHHHH No company has ever closed any of our accounts!!! I guess I will have to try again..."ACCOUNT CLOSED AT CONSUMER'S REQUEST" or "ACCOUNT CLOSED BY CONSUMER" PAID/NEVER LATE<------That part is there...
So tell them they either get it right or get sued. Give them a choice between something easy and something nasty and see which one they go for.. I give them some really nasty choices when I want something done and they are in error. They haven't ever wanted to bit the bullet yet. Not for me they haven't
