I have received an ad from Junum in which they only charge you for deletions, $15.00. They also charge $5.00 for each dispute. They no longer charge a monthly fee.

Has anyone ever used their services? If so, were you very successful in getting things deleted from your credit reports? What's the downside on using this group.

    Thanks!

    Welcome to the board!

Look up some old posts, keep your money & do it yourself.

You can dispute items yourself for the cost of obtaining your credit report. If you live in a state like NJ where you get a free yearly report, you'll save even more.

The time it would take to follow up on their work is about all the time you need to do it yourself.

What they cost me in terms of repeatedly, successfully disputing positive entries and then lying about it is enormous. I dont trust them at all.

Can you forward me the ad you received? The website still shows the monthly fee.

    Thanks.

I also received this ad at one point and was somewhat skeptical due to prior poor experience with them but I went to see if they had made any changes on their website. I also went to tht BBB website, on which they have a poor record.

I emailed them inquiring on why their record is so poor and was sent a response "Like many businesses in this industry we have a small percentage of customers that do not understand the service we provide and readily complain the the BBB."

Basically the answer to my question in a much shorter version was:

"So, we can't make everyone happy."
