Well...Closing went well and I even got $1,100 back @ closing...Time for the big screen TV .. I appreciate all the help I have gotten from this forum.
Congrats, Do you know if they pulled anotther cr and how long was your paper work at the underwriter before someone call you? What was your scores and what terms did you get......?
The last time I was pulled was March 04,.. My middle score was 667-Exp. I got a 80/20 interest only mortgage. My payments on a $157k house is under $700 per month.
Congrats! Enjoy your new place! For $700 a month, I could buy a $90,000 house. Property taxes are just unreal here. For a $150,000 house, payments are $1500 (incl taxes, insurance, etc).

I had no collections that had to be paid off. I did have an old defaulted stu loan on experian with zero balance from 3 years ago. I put no money down because it was an 80/20. I did pay $750 earnest $300 appraisel $250 inspection.
who did you finance with? our scores are a bit lower, my husband at 625 655 696 and me at 602 627 632?
WOOHOOOO!!! It is awesome, idnt it??? We bought our first home last year...median score was 550. No money down and got a little back at closing (only 700 in comparison to your 1100, lol) Congrats! Now, the expenses really start rolling in...paint, furniture, little household doo-dads...etc. Our house was new, so we had to do everything from fence to papertowel holders, ~

YEP! I think we go to home depot EVERY friggin weekend and at least once during the week. We, however, helod off on the big screen and just settled for a Sony flatscreen. Congrats, Dude! Oh, and have fun moving, lol.
Thickman, if you register at Lowes online, they will send you a 10% coupon on your next purchase. Also, if you have a Household cc, register for their Mainstreet savings (9.95 month) buy up to $500 in Lowes GC's at 20% discount, and you can combine that with your 10% coupon. I also think the Mainstreet has Circuit City GC's to buy at 20% off too, to go towards that big screener. Congrats on the casa!
