After sending Juniper a gas bill for address verification (kind of laughable when you think out of all the forms of ID they'd settle for a gas bill. If someone stole your ID and has the information to get a credit card in your name, whats to keep them from opening a gas or electric account with the same info?) Irregardless they started me out at $15,000. More than coincidentally enough my other long time credit card carries just a little over $15K. As much as the 13.99% APR (I swore I thought I would have gotten at least 6 month intro APR before that kicked in) is lower than the card I carry the 15K balance on, my original credit card had a 25K CL. I don't suppose asking Juniper for a little cushion on their CL would work considering I don't like to have the balance near the max point at all. Has anyone ever asked Juniper that if you should desire to transfer balance if they will up the CL a little? Not that Im unhappy with that as a startying CL at all! But it was their obvious notion to try to get me to consider transferring balances. Is it possible they would up it without any credit history with them? and if they consider it will the automatically pull another hard inq?
I hate them. Juniper SUCKS. They do pull an inquiry without informing you (at least it's a soft inquiry, though). For me, they pulled Experian (I'm in CA). One of the reasons they suck is that IF they do a CL increase (2.5 years and NO increase here...), the max they'll do @ once is $2,000. Don't know why, that's just their rule. They also recently informed their customers that they'll be discontinuing their Cash Back Program. I got fed up and cancelled...in their favor, the girl was really nice. ;-)
I hate them. Seems like a pain then. I will just use it and pay it off and if they automatically increase it one day great, if not, the points aren't that much worse where the balance is right now. everytime someone pulls inquiries I get reamed. I have been reading and notice they are uping the APR which is why I likely got 13.99% off the bat.
