Well... If your billing cycle hasn't ended, and you have a C1/K-Mart Card, I'ld go in to Online Account Services, and print out your summary report, ASAP. Over the weekend, I noticed a 'CLI' on my C1/K-Mart card, or what would appear to be a 'CLI'... Despite the $100.00 CLI, total available credit was only in the $26.00 range. Printed it out, yesterday was the statement date, and today the OAS shows my total CL is back to $200.00. Their explaination attempt is that they're dumping the K-Mart section of the card, so the $100 'CLI' on the overall card, is to compensate for the $100 loss on the K-Mart section of the card. So they're increasing just to decrease you right back to where you were before... BULL****... I have had the account for almost a year, and never requested a CLI, and never gotten one either, frankly, if they're going to make it look like there is a CLI, then they sure as **** are going to PROVIDE a CLI, or I'll have their behinds under so many regulatory audits that they won't know which agency is going to come after them next. Heck, I got a CLI on an account that they opened MONTHS AFTER they opened the K-Mart card, a few months ago, yet still didn't qualify on this account. IF they were making the changes that they said, there is a way to do them without deceiving their customers into seeing a CLI, its called "DO ALL THE CHANGES AT THE SAME TIME THAT THE STATEMENT IS PRINTED." Not give a 'CLI' and take it back a few days later.
