I disputed 4 items with TU to begin my credit repair. I received my new report and here are what the items say. It says "new information below" Dillards- For some reason there are 2 different account numbers for Dillards CC's. Also, 2 different credit limits. To my knowledge, I have only ever had 1 CC with them. I looked and I still have the one CC tucked away, but anyway, I disputed (actually the one that is correct as not mine and then realized my mistake, but whatever) and now they both say that they have been updated. Wexler & Wexler- This was a collection account for an NSF check that I wrote to Wal Mart and I am almost positive I paid it because I remember finding out how to pay it through Western Union to get it there faster (I was trying to get my Chex Systems report cleared at the time). It was deleted off of Chex Systems, but Wexler & Wexler, Wal-Mart and Telecheck all say I still owe it. Of course, I cannot find a receipt but I don't want to stir up any trouble so that it will go back on Chex Systems! The report says I still owe money. NCO Financial- I disputed 2 items that were hospital bills that were showing up as paid. My report came back as "payment after charge off/collection". I am sending a HIPAA letter for these items so hopefully it will get taken care of. Any suggestions on what I should do, if anything? Thanks!
