after having clean reports for a period of time, it seems as though the CRA's are taking revenge:

    EQUIFAX
old medical bill - after 5 years - shows up. i don't even know what the hell this is about - sent validation request; got a computer printout CRRR back to me! sent a new one stating that isn't validation. got a letter from their lawyer. I TRULY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THIS IS FOR AND THEY WONT TELL ME!

    EXPERIAN
Discover - successfully removed 5 months ago (IIB); reappears out of the blue; CRRR the CRA about reinsertion - they are now "reinvestigating". i called and said i have the bureau showing it was deleted and they tell me "they don't know what i am talking about"

    EQUIFAX
BofA GOOD TL closed account now shows as IIB for "other party"...uhhh this account is listed as an individual account, who are they talking about - my alter ego?!?! (had similar prob w/TU a month ago, but was resolved) wont look into it they say "previously investigated" but it never was. why would i dispute a good closed TL?

    EXPERIAN
verified an account listed as collection - CA states the CRA NEVER CONTACTED THEM. Experian won't give up the data sheet from the CA. the CA offered to delete (its a paid $10 collection) - but i told them to wait until Experian is done screwing themselves.

I'm not looking for advice - just ranting...all of this happened in the last week. ARGH!

    Update

old medical bill - sent nasty ITS and now removed.

BofA - refuse to fix. got letter from bofa stating the error. eq says can't use what i sent, but still refuses to investigate ("previously verified"). UGH.

Paid collection - experian is pulling the "previously investigated" and i will need to subpeona the proof.

here is where i need help. discover verified but has a DOLA of 3/98 (should be 3/99). i'm wondering if i should just let it sit for another year and let it get deleted. i'm thinking if i push it, it will remain for two years. i don't have the time or energy to fight the reinsertion, etc. my bankruptcy doesn't show on the report and the only other "baddie" is a $10 paid collection (see above). my score on Experian is 650 right now.

i need opinions! is discover worth fighting off?
