My mother has had a K-Mart Mastercard from Cap One for over 4 years never with a limit increase. They told her tonight on the telephone they will never increase a credit line of any K-Mart Mastercard. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone with a K-Mart Mastercard ever get a limit increase?
I got an increase from 500 to 600, then to 1300. However, I recently got a notice that they will be charging a new $4.00 monthly fee...I called and cancelled it.
This letter came earlier in Feb for most Cap pne Kmart cardholders. Basically it seems they almost want to rid themselves of the Kmart division of credit. I have a CL of $2500 and have received increases in the past, but makes no sense to ask for another since they do not report CL. I am only sock drawering this one and will never use again. This way I can avoid 4.00/month charge. Just keep if you need for reporting purpose, but really now there is no other use.
Says they will only charge if it is used after a certain date..so as long as no balance and unused...no charge.
