Haven't bought anything yet but it looks like it acts like Cap One (Firestone's credit card does the same thing).

Re: Re: Re: Re: Kay Jewelers Approved W/540 Fico Correct, no $4.00 fee per month for insurance if you have no balance, HOWEVER, they FAIL to tell you that the insurance is automatically added and it is on your statement, so you must then take care of it thru corporate if you don't want it, IMO it is a tactic to get more money, which is where I was told to call and did, then returned the purchase anyway. Turned out to be a good thing to do as I found here, since it showed payment history and a credit limit.......

I went to kay the same & got 5000, but did not realizing it was the same company so I got a total of 5k for both. I'm in Il & they pulled Tu. BTW Jewelery credit is the easiest. & are instant credit most of the time. You can use the cc at J.B Robertsons

Therefore, they weren't able to verify income. It took 7 days. I then went in the store with the correct inf.and was instantly approved for 4300. Yes they had to pull another inq., but what the hell.
