I want to apply for a Kay Jewelers card, does any one know if it is hard to get? And if you have one, how is your credit? Should I apply 1. on the internet( i don't think it's instant) 2. in the store (instant approval I'm guessing) 3. call their 800 # (instant approval) 4. send in an app. ( they sent one when I requested a catalog online). I have heard that they are easy to get, and according to credimania.com they use trans which is my best report. I have 3 negative items and clean history for the last 2 years. Should I wait until Dec.? I've heard that it's easier to get these type of cards around the holidays? The reason I want this card is so I can start collecting nice simple jewelry (for christmas parties, job interviews)in addition to another positive credit line. Sort of an investment. Any input would be helpful.
They were the first card I ever had. I don't have the account now, but they were the first place I ever got a credit card from. No extravagent limit or anything (I don't remember exactly how much) But they certainly helped me start building credit.
They were the first card that I had about 15 years ago. Hubby purchased our rings, and he was offered the card. I also don't have an account now, but from what I recall, it was easy to get.
