    Hi...
Ive been trying to clean up my credit for about 4 years now and I'm just not getting anywhere. Ive paid credit repair agencies. Ive looked up things on the Internet to do and haven't had much success. I've just started again. I sent off for all of my credit reports and got them back. Some things were removed but some remained. I ordered privacy guard and got my faco scores. Equifax 654, Experian 633, Tranunion 601.
I called equifax to have inquiries removed. They are going to investigate. I called Experian and they said they couldn't do it. I also did the opt-out as well. I checked my PG last night and Experian put a collection back on and my score lowered to 629. This is a collection that I paid. It shows as paid but was put back on.
Also Id like to know how to do bumpage of inquires.
I'd like to put my reports on the sight for help but don't know how.

I'm not sure of what to do next. Please help.

    Hello again,

Just checked privacy guard. My Transunion score has went from 601 to 592. An old collection from 1998 has resurfaced. Please help.

Did they send you a letter notifying you that they are were going to reinsert the collection? If they didn't this is a violation of the FCRA. Threaten to sue if they don't remove it and cloak it so it won't reappear.

I did not receive notification that this would be put back on my credit report. What do you mean by cloak and how do I do this. Do you have a sample letter for this?

well, just because its showing again, doesn't mean it was ever officially deleted.

i would start by reading the newbie threads and do searches on specific topics to start. that should give you some ideas.

Yes, I read them, but Its so much info... It seems validation is the next step just want some input before I proceed I don't want to miss anything.

I think validation with the OC/CA is the simplest place to start.

We always have to make sure that a TL is deleted as a result of the consumers dispute before the 5 day notice requirement kicks in 24. OP did not make clear that it was deleted because of her dispute. In fact it appears from her post that's not the case.

TL's that disappear and then are reposted, all on their own, are not "deleted" TL's.

    :)

    Great catch Jenz.

    :)
