When I pulled my EQ credit report I found a CA account for under $50 I was unaware of. I called them and asked for it to be deleted for payment. They agreed but would not put it in writing.

I sent a settlement agreement fearing payment w/o agreement would set the CA account in concrete. They also failed to validate and broke the FDCPA several times.

I followed up with estoppel and then ITS. No response so I filed a complaint with BBB letting them know I was also going to file with my State's Attorney General, FTC and in court.

Today I pull EQ and they are gone! WOOHOO!
