    from what i hear it is not flagged as secured

    I just got this card, so far so good. also try Amalgamatted of Chicago they offer a secured card for 9% one of the cards is min $5000 and the other is min $500. I'm trying for that one next.

    I have this card. It reports as secured. Only downside is you can't have online access to your account if it's secured.
