Re: Kristie = "A Notice A notice of claim is actually an unfiled "notice to sue". It's the same form that creditors use to sue you in small claims court. If you don't actually file it but send it filled out with your complaint, then technically, you are notifying the creditor of your intent to maybe sue. If they have done anything to warrant such action, usually they will back away to avoid being sued. Works very well when warranted. Ps: I am not a lawyer and I don't give legal advice Kristi
