Web Connection Kit similar to SprintPCS. Usually connections to the Serial Port on the Laptop. Speeds will suck much at 14.4k tho

George, you aren't making this easier for me;) Send me an email when she gets home so I can help you out. FYI you are getting raped by Voicestream with this internet deal. SprintPCS is TONS cheaper and no bandwidth limits.

    I have AT&T@HOME (ATTBI) CABLE...

Somebody said I could use my cellphone with the new laptop she bought...

I have dial-up at my house in CALIFORNIA...but I only get 2 included hours (AOL)...then $2.95/hour...(bring your own).

George, you have to understand you have you use Voicestreams Data setup too, that costs money also. Istream is the name. Look on the voicestream website and you will see what I am referring to. SprintPCS service comes for 4.95 and you use existing minutes on your phone.

The way you are talking would cost you a small fortune. Basically you are going to be paying 2.95 plus 2.95, plus if you go over the 1meg allowance that can really skyrocket and its not hard to go over 1 meg. Then you are using your existing minutes on your phone or top of that.
