Last derog removed!!! FICO jump?

I had 2 paid collections deleted off of TU once and my score rose 48 points just from that.

 

It depends on what, how old, and what the rest of your report looks like.

It isn't really a set number, it varies depending on all of your other info.

 

It really varies, but my last derog netted my 58 points on TU and 47 on EQ. For my SO, last derog off of TU netted a 20 point gain.

I read an old post of your regarding Credit Protection Ass. I have a collection on my equifax report from them that is listed as closed whith a $0 balance. It is listed as "Paid , was a collection account, insurance claim or was terminated for default". Did you have success in getting this reomoved if so could you please tell me what steps to follow?
Id tried to email you but was unable to.
