Applied 2/2 for Bank of America, got denied 2 days later, called up and they said I had "young credit" and I'd be offered a partially secured card in the mail. PFB'd that night and got a letter 2/10 saying they needed to verify some information and requested my SS card, driver's license, utility bill, pay stub year end summary. Sent that out next day. I haven't gotten a response yet, but I just checked their online decision page and it now says I've been approved for $6500 and my Providian transfer is tentatively approved also! Too bad my Providian account is my oldest revolving account, otherwise it'd be cancelled tomorrow!
