If i make a late payment on my account but it's less than 30 days late does that hurt my credit rating with the bank?
Depending on the bank's policy. Most of my card issuers are lenient about late pays. In most cases it take 2-3 months in a row of late payments to get them to report as such. First offenses are not usually reported. Especially if you call a cust. rep. about your oversight. Good Luck, BarryN
