DH and I filed BK in '99. We have two Sears accts that are showing BK 120 late, MBNA BK 120 late, and a couple accts as Charge off. Is this affecting our scores still? If so, what can be done about them?
Depends on the type of late. There's a "currently 120+ late" and there's a late in the past. Either way, I'd try to get them to report accurately or get it deleted. Should only read included in bankruptcy. I've had a few like this, I keep challenging them saying I was never late and eventually they got to IIB.
