My BoA pymnt was due on 11/2. We are selling our house AND I was out of town and completely forgot about the due date until today. I paid online and it will post on 11/4 . I got dinged with a late fee of $35 but more than that I just want to make sure that this isn't going to report as late. Thanks, CNetters!

I've noticed on most loans..im thinking mortgages arent much different..that they don't report late to credit bureau until you are 15+ days late on the payment. they give 'grace'..
you should call and ask them..can't hurt since you are an existing customer and probably will be for many years.

Call them..."IF" this is the first one they will CREDIT it...

One a year would be ok...2 or 3 in the same year...your dreaming

Thanks for the info. I will definitely call them. Another question I thought of...will my making my pymt 2 days late affect getting a CLI in a couple of months? I know Cap1 were notorious for not giving CLI if you had a late in 6 months.

    Still kicking myself.

don't worry. most cards won't report until 30+ days late. but that won't stop the card from increasing your APR. As mentioned in prior posts, call them. If it is your first time, they will credit you, but if you have paid late in the past, most likely they will not help you out.
